[en] Here is a band that I have recovered from the shelf, where it had been gathering dust. It is so good to listen to the Cranes again, some of the best gothic rock ever.

Howling Bells

[en] Howling Bells is a band that has caught my attention this past week. I am really curious to listen carefully to their debut album Howling Bells. Maybe I will be surprised.

“Shoulder to the wheel”
[en] This Norwegian group has been around since the 80’s. I haven’t heard much of their latest stuff (only got their first 3 albums), but they had some great electronic music. And no one can deny that Anneli Drecker has a great voice.
[pt] Este grupo norueguês já existe desde os anos 80. Não tenho ouvido o material novo (só tenho os primeiros 3 álbuns), mas eles tinham boa música electrónica. E ninguém pode negar que a Anneli Drecker tem uma boa voz.

“Destroy everything you touch”
[en] Ladytron are a banda from Liverpool and their music can be defined as electro pop. They have some good material, especially on their last album Witching hour.
[pt] Os Ladytron são uma banda de Liverpool, cuja música pode se definir como electro pop. Eles têm algum bom material, especialmente no último álbum Withcing hour.
The Knife
“Heartbeats”
[en] Brother and sister, Olof Dreijer and Karin Dreijer Andersson, form this electronic indie duo from Sweden. I hardly know most of their material, but this song “Heartbeats” is quite interesting.
[pt] Olof Dreijer e Karin Dreijer Andersson, irmão e irmã, formam este duo de música electrónica independente vindo da Suécia. Praticamente não conheço a maioria do seu material, mas este tema “Heartbeats” é bem interessante.

[en] Candy, Candy, Candy… I can’t let you… I know, you can’t stop, either. Once you hear “Candy” it’s hard to get it out of your mind.
